Lehi City is the northernmost community in Utah County. Lehi was first settled by a small group of Mormons in the fall of 1850. Lehi City was first known as Sulphur Springs. With the establishment of the Utah Sugar Company's first plant in Lehi in 1890, the sugar beet became Lehi City's most important cash crop. The Lehi Roller Mills is a Historic site, established in 1905. "Lehi is a good place to live" has been the cities motto since 1911.
